The Æsir are one of the main tribes of gods, associated with power, war, and order.

  • Frigg - Odin's wife, goddess of love, marriage, and motherhood.
  • Týr - God of war, justice, and honor.
  • Heimdall - Guardian of the Bifrost Bridge, god of vigilance and foresight.
  • Hodr - Blind god associated with darkness and winter.
  • Vé - Brother of Odin, associated with sanctity and creation.
  • Forseti - God of justice and reconciliation.

Vanir (Earth and Fertility Gods)

The Vanir are the second tribe of gods, associated with nature, fertility, and prosperity.

  • Njord - God of the sea, wealth, and prosperity.
  • Freyja - Goddess of love, beauty, fertility, and war.
  • Freyr - God of fertility, sunlight, and prosperity.

Jötnar (Giants and Primordial Beings)

Some giants are worshipped or revered, and many have divine attributes.

  • Hel - Goddess of the underworld, ruler of Helheim.
  • Fenrir - Giant wolf, associated with destruction and prophecy.
  • Jörmungandr - The Midgard serpent, enemy of Thor.
